This summer, my husband, Jerry and I are traveling in our camper as his work takes us to different locations throughout Nebraska, Wyoming and Colorado.

We are in Kearney, Nebraska where hundreds of thousands of sandhill cranes gather during their annual migration.

Following is a short video demonstrating how I quickly re-center and stay fresh, connected, flexible, and clear through lots of change. Take a look.

Freely moving

This transient way of life has challenged many of my old beliefs about what it means to feel safe, secure, and grounded.

Jerry and I wish to be together, so I’ve met the uncertainty with curiosity instead of resistance⏤to breathe through discomfort and strengthen “home” within.

In many ways, this lifestyle reflects my deepest values: living simply, moving with nature, and remembering our essential connection. Nature consistently nourishes me and awakens fresh creativity.

Each town becomes a new adventure. We explore local parks, gardens, farmers markets, bike trails and the unique beauty every community has to offer.

When I remain present and spacious, everything feels lighter. Approaching each day with a beginner’s mind allows me to welcome whatever unfolds.

Some days I move with grace.
Other days, not as much.

Whenever Jerry and I find ourselves feeling stuck, we play the MOVES game ⏤ a simple practice that helps us return to clarity, connection, flexibility, and flow.

Perhaps these uncertain and disruptive times are inviting us all to discover new ways to “move” through change with greater ease, resilience, and presence.

I’m grateful to continue offering online sessions and in-person retreats while we travel. I’m excited for all the new connections and opportunities that continue to unfold along the way.

I believe as MIT’s Otto Scharmer recently wrote:
“Thinking is an embodied, attentive activity through which reality reveals itself. Leadership in the age of AI is the task of cultivating a generative capacity no machine can replicate.”

I demonstrate ways to move as one ⏤ fresh, connected, present, and aware.

Thank you for being part of the MOVES community.
